Dear Sirs:

I have recently read Sandy Gall's subject book in English which impressed me very much. To a large extent the topic of Afghanistan affects Germany as well, since german troops are involved in the afghan conflict. So I think it might be a good idea to translate Mr. Gall's book into German. Though I do not translate books as a profession but as a hobby I would like to send an e-mail to Mr. Gall. According to what the book says Mr. Gall holds the copyright of this book. However, I do not know whether he grants also the right of translating his book into foreign languages or whether this in the responsibility of Bloomsbury Press.
In the affirmative I would like to try to find a german publishing house interested in the publication of this book in Germany.

Unfortunately I could neither trace Mr. Gall's email address on Wikipedia nor on any other webside address.

Trusting this is not an unappropriate request I look forward to receiving your response.

Best regards
